Funeral services for Lewis Edward Smith, 71, of Vidor will be 2:00 pm Thursday November 3, 2016 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment to follow at Knupple Cemetery in Silsbee. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Smith passed away November 1, 2016 at Vidor Heath and Rehab.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Vidor. Lewis was a retired A/C mechanic for the state prison. He was also a member of the Pine Forest Masonic Lodge #1420.
Mr. Smith is preceded in death by his parents Dempsey and Viola Baldwin Smith.
Survivors include his wife Clara Smith of Vidor; daughter Rhonda Stout of Vidor; sister Louise Denman of Warren; grandchildren Chase Stout and Elisha Williams, and five great grandchildren. Mr. Smith will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
