James 'Pete' Ard Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1963 - 2017 Funeral services for James ‘Pete’ Ard, 53, of Fred are 10:00 am Friday, January 20, 2017 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Franks Branch Cemetery in Fred. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Pete passed away January 15, 2017 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. He was born in Kountze and was a lifelong resident of Fred. Pete worked as a logger for David Padgett Logging before becoming disabled. He was an avid hog hunter. Pete is preceded in death by his parents James Stanley and Mary Louise Gore Ard; and sister Sherry Ann Ard Callaway. He is survived by his wife Lori Cain Ard of Fred; son James Travis Ard of Fred; brother William ‘Little Man’ Ard of Fred; grandchildren Gracie Lynn Ard and Hunter Stanley Ard; four nephews, one niece and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other family member. Pete will be missed by his loving family and all who knew and loved him.
