
A memorial service for Bobbie Joan Fisher Calk, 81, of Silsbee was held at 1:30 pm Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the First Presbyterian Church of Silsbee, officiated by Reverend Beth Faulk.
Mrs. Calk died May 3, 2017 in Beaumont.
Joan was born July 29, 1935 in Baytown to Curtis Clifton Fisher Sr and Sybil Brown Fisher. She was a long-time resident of Silsbee. She graduated from the University of Texas where she met and married Jerald Calk. Joan was a retired teacher with the Silsbee school district.
Mrs. Calk loved to travel and spend time with her family and friends. She was an avid bridge player.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Jerald L. Calk and brother Curtis Clifton Fisher Jr.
Survivors include her son Clifton Calk and wife Barbara of Frisco; daughter Sharon Baldree and husband Wesley of Silsbee; grandchildren Matthew Baldree, Daniel Baldree, Brian Criswell and Carol Kringen and six great grandchildren.

Mrs. Calk will be dearly missed by her loving family and many friends.
