Funeral services for Melvin Wayne Mock, 64, of Lumberton will be 11:00 am Saturday May 27, 2017 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until time of service.
Mr. Mock passed away May 22, 2017 at The Gardens Altus Hospice in Beaumont.
Melvin was born November 20, 1952 in Spurger to Britton Wayne and Alma Ray Nelson Mock. He was a lifetime resident of this area. Melvin worked as a supervisor for Patterson Drilling.
Mr. Mock was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Virgil Mock and Willie Mock.
Survivors include his son Billy Wayne Mock of Port Arthur; daughter Stephanie Simoneaux of Lumberton; ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Melvin was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Mr. Mock will also be missed by his dog Daisy, who was his constant companion for many years.
