Funeral services for Kathleen Louise May, 93, of Fred will be 11:00 am Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at St. Marks Catholic Church in Silsbee with interment following in Franks Branch Cemetery in Fred. Visitation is from 5:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday at Farmer Funeral Home.
Mrs. May passed away May 28, 2017 at The Gardens Hospice in Beaumont.
A native of Batavia, NY, Kathleen was a long time resident of Fred. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mathew D. and Kathleen Conroy VanValkenburg; husband Charlie May; and brother Robert “Bob” VanValkenburg.
Survivors include sons Patrick May of Fred, Thomas May of Nederland; daughter Kathleen Cheatham of Beaumont; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Kathleen will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
