Michael James Link Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1989 - 2013 Michael James Link, 23, of Huntington, WV, went to be with his Lord in North Carolina on Monday June 24, 2013. He was born August 9, 1989 in Huntington, WV. Michael was preceded in death by his Uncle William Anthony Duke Moore; paternal grandparents Katherine and Walter Link; maternal grandmothers Florence McCorkle; and great grandmother Naomi Diaz. He is survived by his parents, Joan Stogsdill of Huntington, WV and Mike Link of Leland, NC. He is also survived by his younger brother Wyatt Link; brother Brandon Subers; two older sisters, Tabitha (Brian) Talbert and Tiffany (Mark) Caldwell; two adoring nieces, Susanna Swanner and Peyton Caldwell; aunts and uncles Rebecca and Jeff Nottingham, Anne Link, Connie and Chris Fraley, Mary Moore, Patty and Chuck Suiter, Walter and Claire Link, Robert Moore and Beverly Bradley, John and Tammy Moore, Bill and Erica Moore, Penny Chapman, Walter Moore, Tom and Annique Link; as well as several great aunts and uncles; a host of cousins; and his loyal dog Lexxus. Visitation will be held from 10am-11am Saturday, June 29, 2013, at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Don Carter. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. The loss of such a wonderful person has been so heavy on my heart and mind since learning about what happened. Trying to express my condolences is so hard to put into words. I don't even know where to start. I have a son and daughters so I could not imagine what his parents are going through, and I have a brother so I could not imagine what his siblings are going through. I just want to let the family know that I am so very very sorry for your loss. Michael and I were really good friends throughout middle school and high school...we lost touch sometime after high school, but I never forgot about him and spoke of him often. He was such a fun, loving, caring, intelligent person. He would do anything for anyone. Most of my middle school and high school memories include him. God has gained a wonderful angel. I will keep my memories of him close to my heart and will never forget that smile. May God be with you all and help you through the heartache and pain. Rest in Peace Michael...Love you my friend 3

To Joanie, Tiffany, Tabitha, Wyatt and Brandon my deepest and most heartfelt sympathy. There is no greater loss to a parent than to lose a child. To Tiffany I love you little one my heart aches for you. Rest in peace Mikey I will always remember you.
