Carol Anne RossiCarol Anne Rossi opened Heavens Gates on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 @ 8; 08 pm.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Whitney and Georgia Lowe and one son Frank Rossi Jr.

Carol was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on August 30, 1944. She spent the first 16 years of her life there. In 1958 she met Frank Rossi and they were married on December 10, 1960. They moved to Hebbronville, Texas where they raised 3 children, Frank W. (Dan), Justin and Jessica. Carol was full time mother and college student until 1983. She graduated Summa Cm Laude from Texas A&I University in Kingsville. Carol taught school in Bruni, TX from 1983-1996. In her youth she was an Avid gardener. She enjoyed a spirited but simple life. Carol enjoyed swimming, biking, camping, and SHOPPING!!! She loved her children and grandchildren as well as a multitude of Kids whose life she affected. Over the years she was thought of as mom to many. It was not unusual to find 10-20 friends of her kids of varying ages at her home when school let out.

In 2004 she and Frank moved to Kerrville, TX to help care for their grandchildren. Carol put a great deal of her time and energy into them.

On March 18, 2013, she was diagnosed with cancer. Carol battled courageously until the end. She lost the battle not the will to fight. She will be dearly missed.

Carol is survived by her husband Frank Rossi; 3 children Frank W. Dan , Justin, and Jessica; 3 grandchildren Jacob Rossi, Jon Daniel Hinojosa and Dana Kaylee Mast; sister Barbra Gonzales and husband Eddie; brother Warren Lowe and wife Michelle; many nieces and nephews and many other family members and friends who love her will miss her.

Graveside services will be held 11am, Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Green Hill Cemetery in Hebbronville, Texas. A reception will follow and the family home.
