Joyce Lucille MostyJoyce Lucille Wienecke Mosty at the age of 80 passed into the arms of the Lord on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at her home in Kerrville. She was born on July 16, 1933 in Doss, Texas to Pearl Chesser and Adolph Wienecke . During her childhood years her family moved to Kerrville and then to Fredericksbury, Texas. Joyce attended school in Fredericksburg where she was in Choral Club and sang atto, she played clarinet in the High School Band and was an cecrobat. She played tennis and basketball. Joyce was one of many bunnies in the first Fbg. Easter Fire Pageant in 1948. She excelled in drama club and played the part of Miss Brooks in the Our Miss Brooks class play. She was a self taught artist. She loved painting on fabric, sewing, gardening, dancing, restoring old furniture, baking and was a great cook. She was a case worker for the Kerrville State Hospital for 19 years. She had a volunteer heart and after retiring she worked for several yrs in the thrift store of the Sal. army and then for several yrs. for the Humane So. Thrift store. She loved telling stories and making people laugh. She believed we are all children of God.

Joyce is survived by her 3 loving children Shay Cowden and husband Mark of Kerrville, Texas, Tony Mosty Jr and wife Anna of Center Point, Texas, Matt Mosty and wife Teresa of San Antonio, Texas; 2 sisters June Phillips of Fredericksburg, Texas and Carolyn Jenschye of San Antonio, Texas; 3 grandchildren Ryan, Michelle and Brant and 2 great grandchildren many other family members and friends who love her will miss her.

In lieu of flowers she requested donations to be made to the charity or church of your choice.

A Memorial service will be held at Southern Oaks Baptist Church on April 10, 2014 at 10:30 am, with Pastor Joe Taylor conducting the services.
