![Fred Raymond Dailey](obit_pics/2024012M-Dailey2.jpg) Fred Raymond Dailey, 87, of Milton, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 1, 2024. He was born August 2, 1936 in Hamlin, W.Va., a son of the late Frank and Inez Dailey. He is also preceded in death by his siblings, Lois, Ruth, Milo, Leo, George and Emogene. He served in the United States Army and was a retired Cabell County Deputy Sheriff. He was a lifetime member of American Legion Post 139 and was a served on the Milton Volunteer Fire Department and a member of the Lions Club. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Ball Dailey; two sons, Fred Raymond Dailey Jr. (Veronica) and Larry “Deano” Dailey; two sisters, Bonnie Dailey and Reva Jane Dailey and by one grandson, Aaron Dailey. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor Chad Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, February 5, 2024 at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Online condolences may be sent to www.timeformemory.com/wallace.
