Joey Lee Shadd, 50, of Huntington, WV, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2024. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at Gill Cemetery, by Rev. James Gilkerson. There will also be a celebration of life afterwards at 5 p.m. at The Moose Lodge, Barboursville. He was born April 10, 1973, in Logan, WV, a son of Connie Shadd Simmons of Charleston. In addition to his mother, he is also survived by his wife, Mollie Gilkerson Shadd; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Dreema Gilkerson; two brothers, Michael Simmons of Charleston and Anthony Shadd of Logan; special nieces, Paige Bartram (Big Mike); very special nephews Landon, Mychael, and Malachi; Angel Shumaker (Zakk) and their daughter Ava Grace; special nephew Gage Shadd (Brittany) and their children Vada and Kai; Naylen Shadd; special neighbors, Jake and Lyndsay Goodman; furbabies Mojo and Skippy and a host of friends.
