Timothy Scott Childers Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1965 - 2024 Timothy Scott Childers, 58, born on July 21, 1965, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 13, 2024 after an extended illness. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 16, 2024 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Paul Harris. He was preceded in death by his parents Denzil and Deloris Beckett Childers along with his brothers Danny and Terry Childers, sister, Cheryl Sullivan and nephew Tyler. He is survived by his brother Randy Childers of Salt Rock; sister Becky (Dale) Kyle of Barboursville; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Additionally, he leaves behind his dog Zarah. Tim is a member of the Abundant Hope Baptist Church where he loved to be involved in any capacity he was able. He considered the members as his extended family. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday prior to the service. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

I am lost for words. To his family and friends I am so sorry ! I met Tim after contacting his about my at the time 7month old German Shepherd . I thought the dog was broken because I could not control her period. Tim took Zena to his house for two weeks. When I came to pick her up I literally cried. He just did hand commands and Zena was doing everything he commanded without saying a word. He not only taught her but myself as well how to handle her. Zena has turned into a wonderful dog because of Tim. He’s the best ! I tell everyone the story of Tim and Zena. Thanks Tim ! I will always have a German Shepherd and now I know how to train it.
