Mrs. Gladys Aline Loveless Sanders, age 88, of 201 Club Rd., Buchanan passed away Saturday, October 16, 2004. Mrs. Sanders was born in Heard County on June 17, 1916. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Alfonzo Loveless and the late Mrs. Susie Rooks Loveless. Mrs. Sanders was a retired seamstress. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Roscoe Lamar Sanders, and one daughter, Thelma Aline Sanders; four sisters, Cortez Dewberry, Maude Price, Effie Price, and Mar Lou Rogers; three brothers, George Loveless, Jim Loveless, and Clyde Loveless.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Rahcel and Jackie Poss of Buchanan, Mary Sue and Jack Ezzell of Buchanan, and Patricia and Earl Sailors of Buchanan; one son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Jean Sanders of Tallapoosa; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, October 17, 2004 at 4:00 P.M. from the Buchanan Church Of God with Rev. Robert Rudeseal and Jimmy Sanders officiating. Interment followed in the Tallapoosa East Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Floyd McComb officiating. The following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Cliff Sanders, Terry Dyer, Ronnie Dyer, Brandon Wright, Mike Sims, and Noel Rodgers.
Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel of Buchanan was in charge of the arrangements.
