Ms. Bobbie Gilbert Kilgore, age 76, of 105 Muskogee Trail, Crestview, FL formerly of Tallapoosa passed away Thursday, October 28, 2004. Ms. Kilgore was born in Haralson County on October 26, 1928. She was the daughter of the late Mr. George Gilbert and the late Mrs. Indie Maddox Maples. Ms. Kilgore was a retired press operator.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Gail and John Burdeshaw of Crestview, FL; one son and daughter-in-law, Billy Wayne and Karen Kilgore of Buchanan; five sisters and one brother-in-law, Louise and Harlan Tucker of Buchanan, Jimmie Williams of Tallapoosa, Audrey Frost of Tallapoosa, Wilma Frost of Chatsworth, and Beatrice Wood of Tallapoosa; one brother, G.H. Gilbert of Fruithurst, AL; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, October 31, 2004 at 3:00 P.M. from Tabernacle Baptist Church with Rev. Buddy Gentry officiating. Music will be rendered by Rev. Buddy Gentry and Johnny and Janice Daniel. Interment will follow in the Tabernacle Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Dewayne Kilgore, Bryan Kilgore, Lyle Kilgore, Eddie Truett, Johnny Ray Truett, and Carroll Gilbert.
