1923 - 2005
Mr. Bryan O'Dell "Dell" Lyle, age 81, of 3701 Hyw. 120, Tallapoosa passed away Monday, March 21, 2005. Mr. Lyle was born in Haralson County on September 2, 1923. He was the son of the late Evie Lyle Worthy. Mr. Lyle was a retired brick mason. Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy White Lyle; and a daugher, Glenda Robinson.
Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Gail York of Buchanan and Karon and Billy Wayne Kilgore of Buchanan; one son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Mandy Dodson of Buchanan; eight grandchldren, Travis York, Tammy Jackson, Tanya Gibbs, Kristy Brown, Kimberly Robinson, DeWayne Kilgore, Bryan Kilgore, and Lyle Kilgore; ten great grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, March 24, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. from the Baptist Tabernacle Church with Rev. Buddy Gentry officiating. Music will be rendered by Dana Rampy and Linda Rutherford. Interment will follow in the Baptist Tabernacle Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: DeWayne Kilogre, Bryan Kilgore, Lyle Kilgore, Travis York, Keith Johnson, and Ronnie Brown.
Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
