BIDWELL, Ohio-Miranda Sue Pearce, 22, of Bidwell, passed away in Holzer Medical Center at Gallipolis, as a result of injuries sustained in an auto accident Thursday, April 3, 2003.

She was born November 8, 1980, in Athens, daughter of David Pearce and Bernetta Knox Pearce of Bidwell.

She was a 1999 River Valley High School Graduate, where she was active in the Beta Club and the National Honor Society. She was listed in Who's Who Among American High School Students. In addition, she was a recipient of the Presidential Academic Fitness Award.

Miranda received an Associate degree in Accounting from the University of Rio Grande in 1999, and would have earned a B.S. Degree in Accounting and a B.S. Degree in Business Management, Class of 2004.

While at the University of Rio Grande, she was a member of the Honor Society, Alpha Lambda Delta, and the Accounting Associations Investment club.

In addition to her parents, Miranda is survived by three brothers, Brian (Angie)Pearce of Pomeroy, Donald (Rhoda) Pearce of Bidwell, and Charles Pearce of Bidwell; a sister, Missy Pearce of Bidwell; her fiance, Ryan Young of Rio Grande; and her maternal grandmother, Evelyn Knox of Vinton.

She is also survived by nieces and nephews, Logan and Jordan Pearce, and Haleigh and Rebecca Pearce; and aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Don Pearce; and her maternal grandfather, Kenneth Knox.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, April 6, 2003, in the Vinton Baptist Church, with Pastor Marvin Sallee and Pastor Chester Hess officiating. Interment will be in the Vinton Memorial Park. Visitation was held at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home in Vinton from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, April 5, 2003.

You're right Don. No matter who knew her, if they knew her for 5 minutes, or 22 yrs, she left her mark on their life. She brought joy to everybody's life that she touched. There was never a more deserving person to wear an angel's wings. I miss you too, Punkin. I love you.

Thank you all for being her friend, she was truly and angel among us. There wasn't a day, a goodbye, a smile....not a thing that she took for granted. She is missed by each and every one of us who knew and loved her, I miss you sis... I love you.

It saddens me to hear about Randa, as we all so fondly knew her on the internet. She was a wonderful person, caring and always looking for the brightest in people. Please let us know where memorials can be sent
