James E. Young, 83, Gallipolis, Ohio, (formerly of St. Albans, WV), passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2004 at Holzer Medical Center. He was born August 22, 1921 at Campton, Kentucky, son of the late Hobart and Bessie Asbury Young. He retired from Union Carbide in 1981 with over 35 years of employment.
Surviving are his wife, Faye Woodie Young of Gallipolis, whom he married March 28, 1974 at Parrisburg, Virginia.

Two sisters: Wilda Young and Francis Bailey.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M., Monday, December 27, 2004
at McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, 420 First Ave., Gallipolis, Ohio. Family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Jim enjoyed walking throughout the community and especially spending time with his family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to The American Cancer Society,
