Alvalee Cook, 100 Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away in Arbors of Gallipolis on Sunday, January 1, 2005. She was a retired postal
clerk worker retiring from the Amherstdale Post Office, Amherstdale, W.Va,; member of Grace United Methodist Church of Gallipolis and the St, Albans Order of the Eastern Star #79, St. Albans, W.Va..
Mrs. Cook was born April 19, 1904, in Ona,W.Va., daughter of the late Henry M. And Gertrude Morrison McDonie.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Torrence Cook in 1964.
She is survived by one daughter,
Margaret Johnson, Gallipolis, Ohio
Four grandchildren,
Todd (Sheri) Johnson, Gallipolis
Jane (John) Miller, Tokyo, Japan
Ann Johnson, Columbus, Ohio
Lee (Randy) Campbell, Beckley, W.Va.

She was preceded in death by one son Phillip T. Cook
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M.,Wednesday at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel 420 First Avenue, Gallipolis with the Rev. Robert Ingram officiating burial will follow in the Milton Cemetery, Milton W.Va.. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from
5-8 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be sent to Grace United Methodist Church 600 Second Avenue, Gallipolis, Ohio 45631.
