Mr. James Luther Carden, Jr., age 34, of Buchanan passed away Saturday, April 23, 2005. Mr. Carden was born in Fulton County on October 16, 1970. He is the son of the late James Luther Carden, Sr. and Eva Virginia Skinner Carden of Bremen. Mr. Carden was a construction worker and was a volunteer with the Haralson County Fire Department.
Survivors besides his mother include his wife, Elizabeth Bunn Carden of Buchanan; two daughters, Kaitlyn Abbygail Wilson of Buchanan and Evamae Grace Carden of Buchanan; two sons, James Tyler Carden of Buchanan and Douglas James Carden of Buchanan; eights sisters, Eva Louise Sheets of Bremen, Grace Lynn Cuzzort of Trenton, Frances Darlene Clifton of Alabama, Linda Lynette Malone of Yorktown, VA, Pamela Doris Bradshaw of Calhoun, Peggy Joanne Bradshaw of Covington, Mary Sue Bradshaw of Covington, and Gail Louise McCurry of Covington; two brothers, James Allen Carden of Jackson and William Parker “Britt” Carden of Grayson; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Paul Hood officiating. Music will be rendered by Rev. and Mrs. Paul Hood. Interment will follow in the Little Vine Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Dale Dodson, Larry Mason, Steve Wilson, Gene Norris, Scott Brooks, David Baldwin, and James Clark. Honorary pallbearers will be Seth Morris, Joel Robinson, and members of the Haralson County Fire Department.
