Dear Joyce and family, I was so sad to hear of Mr. Twyman's passing. I was hoping I could attend the funeral today but am not able. I want to take the time to tell you something you already know but couldn't let the opportunity pass me by. Mr. Twyman has touched many young lives, mine being one of them. He was not only a great educator but had a genuine concern for the many lives placed in his hands. It didn't matter if it was in the classroom, on the basketball court or on the football field he was always a leader. When I reminisce about my Jr. High days, I can't help but think of Mr. Twyman, Mr. Gabriel and Mr. Johnson. They enjoyed teaching together and truly loved their work. It made Jr. High a very memorable time for me. Please cherish all the wonderful memories you have of a great husband, father and grandfather. I know I will cherish the memories that I have. I will pray for your family as you go through this difficult season. May God Bless You. Nikki Thaxton Perry

Dear Joyce and Family: When I returned home on Thursday, I was saddened to learn that Ron had passed away. When I visited him in late winter, I felt that he would make it. Because of his positive outlook on life and his determination to create a productive and meaningful life he has left a legacy that his children, family and loved ones can be proud of and cherish. He has touched many lives, and I am sure that God has blessed him for it. I am sorry that I was not able to find closure by being at the funeral home or service. Clyde Evans

Donna and I were very saddened to learn of Ron's passing. I always enjoyed being associated with Ron as one of my better students at North Gallia and as a great teacher while I was principal at Bidwell. He was also a good neighbor to my grandmother Hazel in Ewington. Our thoughts are with Joyce and the family during these difficult times.

In respect, I never knew him other than Mr. Twyman. He was my high school Guidance Counselor and Brandon and Dama were friends. I am so sorry for your loss and I know that words sometimes are not that comforting. But Mr. Twyman touched many lives in several ways. He was a great man and will always be remembered. I will definitely remember how he always seemed to have a smile or laugh to share. I will keep your family in my prayers. God Bless You.
