Mr. Parm Edward Waits, Sr., age 62, of Bremen passed away Saturday, June 18, 2004. Mr. Waits was born in Cleburne County, Alabama on January 12, 1943. He was the son of the late Ulcy V. Waits and the late Annie Mae Bannister Waits. Mr. Waits was an automobile mechanic. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mae Spain and Annie Ruth Fuller; one brother, Raymond Waits.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela Kitchens Waits; one daughter, Maria Waits; three sons, Eddie Waits of Bremen, Randy Waits of Carrollton, and Edward Waits of Lindale; one sister, Jeanette Summerlin of Roopville; one brother, Gene Waits of Rome; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, June 20, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. from Pine Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Kenneth Layton and Rev. Van Brown officiating. Music will be rendered by Rev. Buddy Gentry. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Jeffery Rakestraw, Jason Rakestraw, Jeremy Waits, Jimmy Cook, Clyde Ballew, and Taylor Summerlin.
The remains will lie in state at the Church for one hour prior to the funeral.
Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
