Viola E. (Kennedy) Butts, 81, Vinton, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at her residence. Born February 23, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Mason and Ruth Dyke Kennedy. She was a member of the Vinton Baptist Church, but due to her illness was unable to attend.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, July 2, 2005, at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel, 208 Main St., Vinton with Rev. Chester Hess officiating. Burial will follow in Vinton Memorial Park, Vinton, Ohio. Friends may call the funeral home Saturday, one hour prior to service.
