Howard Childers Sr., 73, Porter and Vinton, Ohio, passed away Monday, July 25, 2005, in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV.
He was a 1950 Graduate of Vinton High School; a retired farmer and lawn and garden repair shop owner. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Porter.
Howard was born July 7, 1932, in Wayne County, WV., son of the late Anthony and Ouida Bowen Childers. He married Mary Gay on February 5, 1943, and she preceded him in death February 21, 2004.

Chelsi and Joshua Radvanyi, Gallipolis, Ohio
and cousins:
James and Jack Childers, Janetta Skidmore, Pat, Larry and Bernard Beckett, Deloris Childers and Delores Beckett all in the Cabell County, WV area.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel, 208 Main St., Vinton, Ohio with Rev. Sherren Corneen officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Bidwell. Friends may call at the Vinton Chapel Tuesday, July 28, 2005 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
