Mrs. Anice Summerville Browning, age 83, of 32 Club Dr., Felton passed away Thursday, August 11, 2005. Mrs. Browning was born in Haralson County on October 23, 1921. She was the daughter of the late F.M. Summerville and the Clara Mae Perry. Mrs. Browning was a homemaker. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, B.C. Browning; sister, Estelle Eastling; and brother Robert Summerville.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Donald Worthy of Buchanan; one son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Shirley Browning of Buchanan; five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, August 14, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Buddy Gentry and Debbie Benefield officiating. Music will be rendered by Rev. Buddy Gentry and Linda Rutherford. Interment will follow in the Tallapoosa-East Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Mike Benefield officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Carey Worthy, Tony Albright, Brandon Benefield, Mitchell Browning, Joe Mullins, and Chuck Thompson. Honorary pallbearers will be Delmar Eastling, Eddie Browning, Ronnie King, Blake Summerville, Matthew Browning, Brett Worthy, Bryson Gibbs, Kaden Mullins, Crane Benefield.
