Hannah C. McBride, 95, of Bidwell, passed away on August 15, 2005. She was born January 23, 1910 in Confidence (Putnam County), WV to the late Dudley and Tressa Styers Rutan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Willis McBride, son, William "Bill" McBride, daughter: Eleanor Nolan, Brothers: Sherman, Frank, Clyde, Les, Roy Rutan, Jacob (infant), one sister: Hallie (Anthony) Murray, and a great grandson, Shawn Henry.
Hannah was a homemaker who spent most of her life in the Bidwell area. She is survived by daughters: Virginia (Richard) Tipton, Frances (Harold) Hayes, Judy (Scott) Bailey, and Jane (Tony) Werry, all of Gallipolis and Kay (Jackie) Easton of Bowling Green, KY; sons, Jim (Joyce) McBride, Pat (Sherry) McBride of Gallipolis and Mike (Elaine) McBride of Desert Hot Springs, CA; one sister: Elizabeth Woodrum of Oberlin, OH; one sister-in-law: Mabel Tawney of Gallipolis, 26 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home in Vinton on Wednesday, August 17 from 6-8 p.m. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 18 at the Bidwell United Methodist Church in Bidwell by Pastor Alfred Holly. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemtery, Bidwell.
Pallbearers assisting in the burial will be : Chucky McBride, Mike Tipton, Mark Hayes, David Easton, Kevin Werry, Nathan McBride, Heath McBride.
Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Tipton, Chris Hayes, Shawn Easton, Eric Werry, Rett McBride and Chris Evans
