Garland K. Stover Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1942 - 2005 Garland K. Stover, 63, Gallipolis, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2005 at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis. He was born May 9, 1942 in Gallipolis, son of the late Russell Emmett and Rachel Halley Stover. Garland was a Custodian for the Gallipolis Developmental Center, retiring in 1996. He is survived by: One Daughter: Katrina Wilson, Gallipolis, OH One Son: Charles Allen Stover, Gallipolis, OH Three Grandchildren Three Sisters: Nina Mahan, Gallipolis, OH Bernadine Hill, Gallipolis, OH Genevieve Fowler, Apple Grove, WV Several Nieces and Nephews He was preceded by: Four Brothers and Three Sisters Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, September 22, 2005 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, with Rev. Eugene Harmon officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to service. My wife Carmen and I send our sincere sympathy to the Garland Stover family. I am his first cousin and although we have not seen each other for a number of years, I remember many good visits with him and his family as we grew up. My father (who also died just the day before Garland died) and Garland's mother were brother and sister and my dad loved his sister very much.
