My name is Sarah Davis and Daniel was my older cousion. I perfer the term 'big brother' much better but oh well I guess. I've been thinking a lot of Daniel latey and decided to look around Google for him, just to learn about him I guess. I found this and read all your notes to Robbie Dobby and our family and it brang tears to my eyes..To see just a hand full of people he knew, I dont know why but it makes me happy. I want you guys to know, that if you happen to read this, I am very thankful to all of you for your kind words and all the prayers and love you've sent our way. And some of you may not know it, Robbie Dobbie (or Robbin, I've called her Robbie Dobbie all my life) has past away. It wasnt too recent, but maybe a few years? Im not sure, but for me, it seems like a million years. I loved my Daniel with all my heart and I still do, not a day goes by that I dont think about them both. Anyways, I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you, for loving Daniel in ways I couldnt.. For being his friend all those years when I couldnt. For being with him through everything. Thank you. Im 13 years old now and its been a long, rough 7 years of my life with out my brother. I know its been harder for some of y'all than it has others, but I know my brother leaves an impression on EVERYONE he meets. No one could meet him and not instantly fall in love with him, loosing him was hard on everyone he knew. If any of you still read these, and happen to read mine, feel free to hit me up on email one day. I'd love to hear about the good times you had with Daniel. I also am a little curoius to know if he ever talked about me to any of you, if he ever talked about his little Doodle Bug... Robin. i know i never really got to know you as well as i wish i would have. but ive known and been friends with daniel since the 1st or 2nd grade. and he was one of the greatest guys ive ever met in my life. he knew just what to say to always cheer me up and i know he did that with everyone. i will never forget how amazing he is and i want you to know that me and my family are always here for you. and you and your family will always be in our prayers. and im so sorry. but we're here for you and we love you so dont forget that.

Daniel was one of my best friends...he was an ex boyfriend but one I could never let go. He and I never fought...he made me so happy all the time. I got my chance to say goodbye... I went nearly a year without seeing him and less than a week before his death I , simply by fate, saw him in Wal-Mart. He was so sweet and I NEVER would have thought I wouldn't get to see him again. He is forever going to be with me... I know. I met him on the Manatee Trip back in seventh grade where he eased all my homesickness. I will always love this boy...always.

I am So sorry to hear about daniel...i met him last year in psychology...he was SO fun to be around...we used to get in trouble for talkin and laughin all the time..he used to tell me when i wore stilletos that they should be illegal..lol i miss him..he always told me he wanted to be a 'legend' at H.C.H.S he ALWAYS knew how to make me laugh even when i was Cryin. i didnt ever talk to him this year..i never saw him. I want you to know that Daniel changed my life he taught me what life's about and not to care what people think about you. he was a terrific person and i hate it that it had to end like that we will miss him and i speak for everyone at Haralson county high school when i say that. you're in my prayers god bless..

I came to know Daniel after he started working with me at Subway and our friendship grew from then. Robin,
I don't know if you know me or not. My name is Cassie Rowell. Me and Daniel had Geometry together his tenth grade year and several other classes after that but that one was my favorite. Me and Daniel came to know each other that year and grew very close. We talked on the phone just about every night that year. I think I even talked to you a couple of times. We would talk for hours and never run out of things to say. He would always talk about his wonderful mother and brother. He would tell me that ya'll were his everything. We were always laughing too. It was never dull with Daniel. We came up with our certain little sayings. He would playfully get mad if I would use them with someone else. He is an amazing person and friend. I couldn't take it any further than that because of being afraid that it would ruin the great relationship we had. Over the years since then we grew apart but I never loved and cared for him any less and I never will. He will be missed by all and never will he be forgotten.

I too have lost in the past year,i have relatives that go to haralson county high ,and from what i have heard ,it was drug related ,we need to as parents need to talk more to our children ,be involved in the process of the rights and wrongs,in a way he is lucky ,he is sitting with the angels of god ,and is suffering none.the good lord wanted him back.and im sure he is sorry for causing so much pain,but he is with the lord now,do not lose your faith because we will all meet him one day,and daniel will be waiting for you

To the family:
Were all sorry for your loss. We also share the same loss. I had Daniel in two classes and i loved him to death. Lately i have not been involved with him because of his lifestyle but i still loved and never expected Daniel to go that far. My deepest sympathy goes out to the mother and to the rest of the family, because i know how it feels. I hope to god that Daniel was right with the Lord, so mabey one day i will see him again. We all miss him and love him so much.
