Leslie G. Burgess, 57, Vinton, passed away Friday, December 16, 2005 at the

VA Medical Facility, Huntington, WV. Born December 27, 1947 in Cadillac,

Michigan, he was the son of Victor Burgess and the late Lorna Russell

Burgess.

A U.S. Navy Veteran, Leslie retired after 32 years of service as a lab

technician at GKN Sinter Metals, (formerly Federal Mogul and Borg Warner),

Gallipolis.

He married Barbara Wilfong Burgess October 16, 1998 in Catlettsburg,

Kentucky and she survives him. In addition to his father and stepmother,

Nora, of Gallipolis, he is survived by:

Three Sons:

James R. (Christy) Davis, U.S.A.

David B. (Crystal) Davis, Maine

Earl A. Holcomb, Vinton, Ohio

One Daughter:

Kayla N. Holcomb, Vinton, Ohio

One Brother:

Victor (Judy) Burgess, Iowa

One Sister:

Cynthia (Ronald) McDaniel, Point Pleasant, WV

He was preceded in death by:

One Son:

John Michael Burgess

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M., Monday, December 19, 2005, with

Rev. Alfred Holley officiating. Burial will follow in Mina Chapel Cemetery,

Gallipolis. Friends may call Sunday at McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt

Chapel, 420 First Ave., Gallipolis from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. Condolences can be
