Mrs. Louise Posey Lemeske, age 81, of 2840 Emily Lane, Jacksonville, FL passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2006. Mrs. Lemeske was born in Haralson County on August 29, 1924. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence Franklin Posey and the late Grover Beatrice Ogle Posey. Mrs. Lemeske was a retired book keeper. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Lemeske; one sister, Lois Ayers; and one brother, Howard Posey.
Survivors include one daughter, Gloria S. Perkins of Summit, NJ; one son, George Lawrence Lemeske of Summit, NJ; two brothers, Doyce Posey of Douglasville and Vance Posey of Buchanan; two grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Memorial services will be conducted Sunday, February 12, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. from the graveside at the Buchanan Cemetery with Rev. Billy Searight and Danny Hutcheson officiating. Music will be rendered by Valerie Yearta. Interment will follow in the Buchanan Cemetery.
