Ms. Gloria Jean Palmer Willis, age 53, of 124 Holly St., Buchanan passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2006. Ms. Willis was born in Greene County, Ohio on June 13, 1952. She was the daughter of the late Calvin Palmer and the late Dorothy Tidd.
Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Rodney and Bonnie Willis of Buchanan, Tim and Tina Willis of Xenia, OH and Charlie Willis of Buchanan; four sisters, Nancy Jo Gray of Indianapolis, IN, Beverly Bridges of Indianapolis, IN, Merle Fitzwater of Wilmington, NC and Patty Wilson of Wilmington, NC; four brothers, Calvin Palmer, Jr., of Indianapolis, IN, John Oliver of Cartersville, Don Oliver of California and Fred Oliver of California; eight grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, February 19, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Floyd McComb officiating. Interment will follow in the Buchanan City Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Brandon Willis, Rodney Willis, Matt Willis, Steven Willis, Jake Sensing, Joey Shackleford and Jacob Shackleford.
Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
