Ms. Viola Cash Goldin, age 87, of 4537 Hwy. 78, Bremen passed away Friday, February 17, 2006. Ms. Goldin was born in Haralson County on May 16, 1918. She was the daughter of the late Henry Patrick Cash and Mary Jane Hansford Cash. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Calvin Eugene Goldin and Oliver Doyle Goldin; two sisters; and five brothers.
Survivors include four daughters, Mary Meadows of Whitesburg, Betty Madden of Bremen, Darline Tallent of Waco and Patsy Ploof of Buchanan; three sons, Bobby Gene Goldin of Scottdale, Charles Goldin of Scottdale and Otis Goldin of Bremen; thirteen grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, February 20, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Benny Waldrop and Rev. Randy Rooks officiating. Music will be rendered by Harold McWhorter. Interment will follow in the Poseyville United Methodist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Oliver Doyle Goldin, Jr., Johnny Truitt, Gene Tallent, Oliver Gene Madden, John Dewayne Madden and Matthew Waldrop.
Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
