Mr. Clifford M. “Bo” Cox, age 69, of 671 Wray Mine Rd., Buchanan passed away Saturday, February 25, 2006. Mr. Cox was born in Haralson County on April 24, 1936. He was the son of the late Willie Vaughn Cox and the late Velma Johnson Cox. Mr. Cox was retired from the United States Army. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Paula Price Cox; one daughter, Carmen Cox Wheeler; two sisters, Marie Maxwell and Ruby Edmonds; and one brother, Gerald Cox.
Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Galbraith of Aberdeen, WA and Terri Fenn of Elma, WA; two sons, Rodney Cox of Aberdeen, WA and Calvin Cox of Aberdeen, WA; two brothers, Joe Cox of Decatur and J.C. Cox of Cedartown; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. from Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel with Danny Hutcheson officiating. Music will be rendered by Harold McWhorter. Interment will follow in the Centre Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Jimmy Minge, Mack Hollis, Tom Conn, Beaver Maxwell, Jerry Lyle and Terry Patterson. Military honors will be provided by the Haralson County Veterans Association.
