Mr. William Earl James, age 67, of 75 S. Waco School Rd., Bremen passed away Monday, March 20, 2006. Mr. James was born in Bolivar County, Mississippi on November 12, 1938. He was the son of the late Marion Eugene James and the late Ethel Mae Sexton James. Mr. James was a veteran of the United States Army and was retired from American General Insurance Company.
Survivors include his wife, Patsy Ann Daugherty James of Bremen; two daughters, Melissa Lewis of Bremen and Crystal Bates of Tallapoosa; two sisters, Birdie Mae Tidmore of Bruce, MS and Marian Eugenia Thomas of Felton, DE; two grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 24, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel with Dr. J. Howard Mills and Rev. Buddy Gentry officiating. Music will be rendered by Rev. Buddy Gentry. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Brian Bates, Larry Lovvorn, John Smith, Merle Milner, Tommy Skidmore and Steve Vaughn.
