Ms. Deborah Susan Terrell Fugate, age 51, of 240 Lee Ann Rd., Buchanan passed away Sunday, April 9, 2006. Ms. Fugate was born in Carroll County on July 1, 1954. She was the daughter of the late Ezra Cornell Terrell and Martha Estelle Huckeba Terrell of Buchanan. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by one sister, Dianne Nixon; and one brother, Dennis Terrell.
Survivors besides her mother include two daughters, Faith Barkley of Buchanan and Hope Terrell of Gainesville; one son, Christopher Fugate of Buchanan; one sister, Michelle Chandler of Tallapoosa; one brother, Donald Terrell of Buchanan; three grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. from the Liberty Christian Church with Minister Bill Gray and Minister Tom Howard officiating. Music will be rendered by Lecia Appling. Interment will follow in the Liberty Christian Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Ronnie Terrell, John Chandler, Tom Howard, Bobby Gentry, Fletcher Yearty, Johnny Johnson and Joel Farmer.
Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
