Mr. Rodney Wayne Sanders, age 39, 0f 454 High Point Rd., Buchanan passed away Monday, April 24, 2006. Mr. Sanders was born in Carroll County on October 20, 2006. He was the son of Larry Wayne Sanders of Oxford, AL and Inez Deese Sanders of Buchanan. Mr. Sanders was a painter.
Survivors besides his parents include four sisters, Angela Scara of Bremen, Teresa Mills of Buchanan, Wendy Sanders of Tallapoosa and Christy Sanders of Buchanan; one brother, Corey Sanders of Tallapoosa; maternal grandmother, Thelma Perry of Buchanan; paternal grandmother, Emily Mason of Bremen; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 29, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. from Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Chester Pesnell, Rev. Dr. Terrell McBrayer and Rev. Bennie Westmoreland officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion West Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Brandon Sanders, Lonnie Von, Ronnie Kimball, Joel Fincher, Melvin Pollard, Don Scara, Jimmy Ballew and Richard Taylor.
Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
