Ben Garland Clay, 81, Albany, OH, passed away in Kimes Nursing Home, Athens, Saturday, May 13, 2006. A W.W. II Army Veteran, he was a construction worker and a member of the Laborers Union.
Mr. Clay was born August 26, 1924, in Lockwood, Ky., son of the late Thomas Garland Clay and Bertha Wooten Clay. Surviving are his wife Ernestine Marcum Clay, one son and four daughters;

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM., Tuesday, 5/16/06, in the Little Pearl Old Regular Baptist Church near Vinton with Brothers Sam Franks, Don Lawson and Raymond Stapleton officiating. Burial will follow in the Marcum Cemetery.
The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the Service on Tuesday.
