Dr. Walker was my favorite doctor while I was a student at Holzer from 1968-1971. Such a sweet and gentle man, and oh so patient with us student nurses. My heartfelt sympathy to the entire family.

Mrs. Walker and family, Cannot imagine the loss you feel but would like to let you know that Dr. Walker not only had many patients but friends. He was my first medical Dr. when we moved here in 1959 and went on to become my Mother and Larrys parents physican also. He was not only a wonderful physican but a true genteleman. The title of this song certainly fits in this case, "Earths Loss Is Heavens Gain". Please accept our deepest sympathy and gratitude for just having him in all our times of medical needs. Pat and I were very saddened to hear that Ike had passed away. It was a pleasaure to know him even though that time was relatively brief. I was particularly impressed by the fact that, no matter how busy his day was, Ike never seemed ruffled and always had time for a friendly "Hello". He was the consummate professional and the perfect gentleman. This may sound trite, but he was one of those "greatest generation" type of physicians that I thought made the perfect role model for us younger guys. Our thoughts are with you.--Don and Pat

Dear Sarah and family, "Ike" was one of a kind, very patient, and knowledgable. He is definitely missed. Knowing we've not seen you all around town, and attending Christ Episcopal Church in Pt. Pleasant, didn't realize that you had moved to Gahanna. Since we are going to be out of town, wanted to take this opportunity to Thank God for Ike's life;also, you and your family's contributions to Gallipolis! Love, hope, and belief - Ruth Ann
