James Edward Duffy, 72, Wilkesville, OH, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2006, in Holzer Senior Care, Gallipolis,, Ohio. He was born November 25, 1933, in Wilkesville, son of the late Andrew and Hazel Booth Duffy. A Graduate of Wilkesville High School, he was a U.S. Army Veteran and had worked at Banquet Foods, Wellston, and Wells’ Orchard, Wilkesville.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Emerson Duffy and a sister, Catherine Colwell
Surviving are one brother and one sister:
David (Erma) Duffy, Columbus, Ohio
Mary (Charles) Withee, Rio Grande
Sisters-in-law, Lura Duffy, Wellston, and Laura Duffy, Reynoldsburg, OH
and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM., Thursday, at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, with Rev. Alfred Holley and Bob Powell officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem Center Cemetery.
Military Grave Side Service will be conducted by the Joseph Freeman American Legion Post 476, Wilkesville.
