April Karen Tapley Michiaels Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1944 - 2006 Ms. April Karen Tapley Michiaels, age 62, of 3390 Corinth-Poseyville Rd., Bremen passed away Thursday, June 29, 2006. Ms. Michiaels was bon in Arkansas on January 2, 1944. She was the daughter of Rev. Bert L. Tapley of Columbus and the late Kay McDonald Tapley. Ms. Michiaels was a registered nurse. Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by a daughter Lisa Karen Cole; and one son, Mark A. Cole. Survivors besides her father include one son, Mac W. Cole, Jr. of Bremen; one sister, Suzanne West of Columbus; one grandchild; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be conducted Monday, July 3, 2006 at 12:00 Noon from the Corinth Baptist Church in Bremen with Rev. Wendell Rush officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon from 2:00 unitl 6:00 P.M. Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.

Dear Mac, I know you don't know me but I went to school with Mark. I believe my sister Tracey went to school with you. I worked with your mom at smyrna hospital for many years.April touched so many lives.She was such a sweet person who spoke highly of you and your family. She loved her granbaby. I can't imagine the hurt you must feel having lost Mark and now your Mom. Know that God is always with you even when we are so overcome with grief that we may not feel his presence.I will continue to pray for peace and strength over you and your family during this most difficult time.Again I am so sorry for your loss. So sorry to hear of April's death. She had become a special person since coming back into my life at the nursing home. We enjoyed reminising. I love all of y'all. I talked to her Weds. late and she was sick. I will miss her. Bless each of you and Ashley is beautiful.
