Donald Ray George, 58, Bidwell, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 9, 2006, at the Holzer Medical Center. He was sa Veteran of the US Army, Reserves, and had retired fom the Continental Mill Grain Company of Columbus in 1985.
Don was born on April 12, 1948, in Vinton, son of the late Victor "Tuck" George and Viola Wilt George. He married Margaret Conn, August 3, 1972, and she survives with two daughters:

Amber (Eric) Carpenter, Vinton, OH
one grandson, Mason Stone Logue; three brothers and one sister:
John (Mildred) George, Tampa, FL
Victor (Mary) George, Vinton, OH
Paul (Mildred) George, Grove City, OH
Sharon (Lecides) Maldonado, Gallipolis, OH
several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by one sister, Twila LeMaster.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM., Wednesday, in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, with Pastor Ron Bynum officiating. Burial will follow at Vinton Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, 5:00 - 9:00 PM. Condolences may be e-mailed to www.timeformemory.com/mm.
