Hobart Leslie Call, 90, Rio Grande, passed away unexpectedly, on Friday, July 14, 2006, at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis. A W.W. II. U.S.Army Veteran, he was born on May 3, 1916, in Delaware, OH., son of the late John and Carrie Whealdon Call. He retired from the Gallipolis Developmental Center following twenty years service. Prior to that time he was employed by the Ohio Department of Highways, drove school bus in Raccoon Twp. and was a farmer.
Hobart married Genevieve H. Buck on October 22, 1945 in Greenup, KY, and she preceded him in death on September 16, 2003. He is survived by a son and a daughter:

One sister: Gaynelle Shope, Streetsboro, OH., several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Everett and John Call.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, July 17, 2006, at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, with the Rev. Randy Parsons officiating. Burial will follow in the Hill Cemetery, Thurman. Military Grave Rites will be conducted by the Gallia County Veterans Service Organizations.
. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M., on Sunday, July 16, 2006.
