LaAnna Marie McCallister CrawfordLaAnna Marie McCallister Crawford, 86, of Salt Rock, West Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on February 15, 2026.

Born November 29, 1939, on Bear Creek in West Hamlin, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Luna (Lucas) McCallister. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, William “Doodle” Crawford, her granddaughter, Deanna Crawford, five brothers, one sister and survived by two sisters, Loreda Mae Bias and Evelyn Jewell Frazier.

LaAnna was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Alec, Zoey, D’Angello, Luka, Avery, Junie, Everleigh, Liam, and baby Swann arriving in June— all of whom she proudly said “looked just like her”; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A faithful member of Valley of Decision Church, LaAnna was known for her steady faith, quiet strength, and deep love for her family. She leaves behind a legacy of devotion and a family who will cherish her memory always.
