Carl E. Rayburn Jr., 73, of Wayne, WV, passed away at his sister’s home May 16, 2026. He was born June 30, 1952, in Barboursville, WV, son of the late Carl E. Rayburn and Aline M. Shull Rayburn. He was also preceded in death by one brother Dewey Rayburn, and three sisters Genevieve Vickers, Dorothy Abbott, and Wanda Thompson. He is survived by two sisters Emma Marshall and Glenna Dean (Charles). Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, with graveside services to follow at Union Ridge Cemetery.
