Lonnie Lou AlbrightLonnie Lou Albright, born July 19, 1932, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2026 at the age of 94. He was the son of the late Willie and Nettie Albright of Guyandotte, West Virginia.

Lonnie was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Virginia Don Albright, and his son, David Benjamin Albright.

Left to cherish his memory are his brother, Larry Albright (Freda) of Barboursville, West Virginia, his sister Patsy of Huntington, WV; his son, Dennis Brian Albright (Debbie); daughter-in-law, Jeannie Albright; Grandchildren, Elizabeth Albright (Michael Papritis) of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Victoria Albright of Jacksonville, Florida, Jonathan David Albright (Amanda) of Abbeville, South Carolina, Matthew Brian Albright and Jessica Albright of Dawsonville, Georgia.

He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Leo Albright Papritis and Katie Albright Papritis of Albuquerque, New Mexico as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends in West Virginia and beyond.

Lonnie proudly served aboard the USS New Jersey during his time in the United States Navy in the Korean War.

He will be remembered for the love he carried for his family and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Funeral services for Lonnie Lou Albright will be held at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Barboursville, West Virginia, on May 29 at 2 p.m. Family and friends are welcome to attend.

Visiting hours are 1 p.m. - 2 p.m. at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 3547 US-60 E, Barboursville, WV 25504.
