Martin E. Reynolds went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 30, 2026.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Marty was a graduate of Glen Burnie High School. Following graduation, he proudly served his country in the National Guard. He retired from NSA after 32 years.
In 1962 Marty married the love of his life, Carolyn Wilson Reynolds. Together they raised four daughters and built a life centered on faith, family, and service to others. Marty was a God-fearing and humble man who treated everyone he met with kindness, grace, and love. His life was a reflection of his deep Christian faith, and his favorite Scripture was John 3:16. He was always willing to share godly wisdom. Marty and Carolyn faithfully visited nursing homes, praying for the sick and offering comfort and encouragement.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin L. Reynolds and Gertrude Reynolds; his beloved wife, Carolyn Reynolds; his daughter, Cyndee Reynolds; and his grandson, Joshua Prosper.
Those left to cherish his memory are his current wife, Janet Reynolds; his daughters, Terri Prosper, Tammi Little (Jackie), and Toni Beever (Keith); as well as L.R. Mayo (Cheryl) and Stacey Young (Dennis), who were a beloved part of his family; along with 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren who brought him great joy.
Marty dearly loved his family and treasured every moment spent with them. He enjoyed gardening, watching the Ravens and O’s. He enjoyed playing pool, a cold one and listening to the oldies. His favorite song was “He stopped loving her today” by George Jones.
Marty will be deeply missed, his family finds comfort in knowing that he is now at peace in the presence of his Lord and Savior. His legacy of faith, love, kindness, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” — John 3:16
