Mrs. Eunice Glenn Sullivan, formerly of 7195 Smithfield Road in Bowdon, Georgia, passed away September 7, 2005. She was 92.
Mrs. Sullivan was born on December 7, 1912 in Carroll County, Georgia to the late Tillman and Lena Eason Glenn. She was a homemaker and was a long-time member of Mt. View Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, D.S. Sullivan; four sons, Harold, J.P., Gerald, and Hurtis Sullivan; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers and four sisters.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Brantley and Deborah Sullivan of Bowdon, Georgia; daughters and son-in-law, Doris and Ed Wheeler of Bowdon, Georgia, and Linda Robinson of Tallapoosa, Georgia; sister, Clara Wynn of Carrollton, Georgia; 20 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Sullivan will be held Friday, September 9, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. View Baptist Church. Rev. Tommy Wright and Rev. Kenneth Forsyth will officiate. Music will be furnished by the church choir and grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Prior to the funeral service, her body will lie in state at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, September 8, 2005 from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m.
