Linda Jane Cook
Mrs. Linda Jane Cook, of 1637 County Road 689 in Ranburne, Alabama passed away Sunday, September 18, 2005 at the Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center in Anniston, Alabama. She was 60 years old.
Mrs. Cook was born January 24, 1945 in Cleburne County, Alabama to the late Jessie Lee and Alene Francis Chupp Ledbetter. A life-long resident of this area, she was a member of the Bowdon Church of God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Ledbetter, and a sister, Willene Waites.
Survivors include her sons, Matthew Cook of Carrollton, Georgia and Christian Cook of Ranburne, Alabama; daughter and son-in-law, Miranda and Tim Smith of Anniston, Alabama; brother and sister-in-law, Lee and Judy Ledbetter of Carrollton, Georgia; and sister and brother-in-law, Pat and Sammy Rayburn of Bremen, Georgia.
Funeral services for Mrs. Cook will be held Tuesday, September 20, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bowdon Church of God. Rev. Douglas Lee, Rev. Hubert Carroll, and Rev. Jackie Taylor will officiate. Music will be provided by Judy Hunnicutt and Gloria Williams. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery.
