Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Webb age 77 of 2455 Oak Grove Church Road, Carrollton, Georgia formerly of Hebron, Mississippi died Sunday, September 25, 2005.
She was born in Lawrence County Mississippi July 21, 1928 the daughter of the late Abner Berry and Birdie Marie Berry Thurman. She was a member of New Hebron Baptist Church and the Red Hat Society.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Roy L. Webb in 2003.
Survivors include Daughter and Son-In-Law Darlene (Larry) Beam of Bowdon, GA. Son and Daughter-In-Law Lucus (Allison) Yates of Duluth, GA. Brother A.B. Thurman, Jr. of Murrieta, CA.
Graveside memorial services will be held Friday, September 30, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. from the Bowdon City Cemetery with Rev. Benny Boggus officiating. A second memorial service will be held Saturday, October 1, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. from the New Hebron Baptist Church in Hebron, Mississippi.
In according to her wishes her body was cremated.
Rainwater Funeral Home of Bowdon, Georgia was in charge of the arrangements.
