MR. JOHN BOYD (CASEY) JONES
Mr. John Boyd “Casey” Jones age 89 of 1130 Cedar Street, Carrollton, Georgia died Wednesday October 26, 2005.
He was born in Carroll County Georgia August 6, 1916 the son of the late George William and Sally Irene Thornton Jones. J. B. was a member of Beulah Baptist Church in Douglasville, GA. a Army veteran of World War II and was a Automobile Mechanic.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his 1st wife Euna Jones. 8 Brothers and Sisters.
Survivors include his wife Miriam Wynn Jones of Carrollton, GA. 2 sons Barry Jones of Rome, GA. and Bobby Jones of Douglasville, GA. Step-son Buddy Lovvorn of Kennesaw, GA. Step-daughter Sara Rush of Douglasville, GA. 8 Grandchildren, 6 Great-Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday October 28, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. from the chapel of Rainwater Funeral Home with Willie Craft officiating. Music will be furnished by Alecia Rush. Interment will follow in the Bowdon City Cemetery.
