LAURINE DIXSON ENTREKIN
Mrs. Laurine Dixson Entrekin age 93 of 876 Dixson Road, Bowdon, Georgia died Wednesday, October 26, 2005 in Tanner Medical Center Carrollton.
She was born in Carroll County Georgia August 25, 1912 the daughter of the late Robert Hill and Clara Broadwater Dixson. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Bowdon a member of UMW and was a retired seamstress of Warren Sewell Clothing Co.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Forrest Enterkin a granddaughter Lindsey White, two brothers Horace Dixson and R.H. Dixson, Jr. a sister Nannie Lovvorn.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law Linda (Horace) Cater of Bowdon, GA. and son and daughter-in-law Jerry C. (Mary Nell) Entrekin of Hendersonville, TN. Grandchildren and wives Kimberly (Jeff) White of Crossville, TN. Brian Forrest (Sandi) Entrekin of Dominican Republic. Bart (Stephanie) Cater and Beth (Chris) Caldwell all of Bowdon, GA. Great-Grandchildren Micah White and Jacob White both of Crossville, TN. Mary Emily Entrekin and Isabelle Entrekin both of Dominican Republic. Grant Caldwell, Ava Caldwell, Daniel Cater and Abigail Cater all of Bowdon, GA. Two Sisters Mary Barnes and Lilla Lovvorn both of Bowdon, GA. Two Sisters-in-laws Ollie Mae Dixson and Sarah N.Dixson both of Bowdon, GA.
Funeral services will be held Friday October 28, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. from the Bowdon First United Methodist Church with Rev. Herbert Chisenhall officiating. Interment will follow in the Bowdon City Cemetery. She will be at the funeral home until being placed in state at the church at 1:00 P.M.
