Mr. Aldred R. Truett age 70 of 71 Lakeshore Drive died Saturday November 5, 2005 at his residence.
He was born in Carroll County Georgia August 21, 1935 the son of the late Harmon and Sallie “Granny Mike” Robison Truett. He was a was a retired employee of S.I.A Trucking and was a Army veteran.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Marie Truett.
Survivors include his wife Janice Lovvorn Truett of Bowdon, GA. Two sons and daughter-in-law Craig Truett of Bowdon, GA. and Chris (Jolynn) Truett of Carrollton, GA. Daughter and son-in-law Candi (Chris) Wise of Carrollton, GA. 6 grandchildren Tyler Truett, Seth Truett, Amy Corley, Beth Truett, Crystin Wise and Caitlin Wise. 2 great-grandchildren Kade Corley and Page Roberts. Brother and Sister-in-Law Donnie (Linda) Truett of Bowdon, GA.
Funeral services will be held Monday November 7, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. from Corinth Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Stewart and Rev. Byron Spruill officiating. Pallbearers will be Kerry Truett, Jay Truett, Stacy Lovvorn, Shane Lovvorn, Randy Lovvorn and Jeff Stack. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday November 6, 2005 from 2-9 P.M. He will be at the funeral home until being placed in state at the church at 1:00 P.M. prior to the funeral
